Keeping Up with Tricky Treaters

This year was a new experience for us! It was all about keeping up with the teenagers while hanging back with the gradeschooler and friends. How far ahead should they be that we are cramping their style....Probably the fact that we were there at all already was, so the point is moot.

The Simple Life

Finally a free weekend with nothing planned!!! We went on a ROAD TRIP two hours from home to Staheli Family Farm. We rode the tractor over to the corn field and spent some time getting lost in the maIze. One maize down and we decide to split up into teams for the next one: Mom & Lexi against Emily and Dad. I wonder how that turned how?!? Next up: the petting zoo and picking out our pumpkins. But I think the true hit of the day was the rope swing in the haystack. Aww...the Simple Life!

We are so into rules! Strange!

Green Acres is the place for me!

The rope swing was a huge hit with the girls!
