Artsy Fartsy

This was the week of the arts: Alexa's Band Concert & Our musical of Jack & The Beanstalk. Our girls are blessed with such talent. I am so proud of them!

Wednesday Night
Our almost 8th grader after her Intermediate Band Performance. Loved their piece from Phantom of the Opera (I will post the video from my phone when I figure out how...)
She is doing so well on the flute, next year she will add the piccolo as well to her repertoire!

Thursday Night
Emily stars in Jack & The Beanstalk as the Goose who lays golden eggs
(directed by Mom; no nepotism here :)

Emily can shake it..shake it! She's a triple threat!

Lay! Singing and dancing eggs too! What fun!
My costuming talents are well displayed this time!

I was so proud of my cow too!

And of course my 6 1/2 foot tall GIANT!
(made from a 5'x 6' wooden cross that looked strangely out of place in my classroom for a week...and paper mache)
